Nikon NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S Lens + Lens Bundle Discount

Overview

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S is a prime wide-angle lens built for full-frame Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras, pairing a versatile 35mm focal length with a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture. This combination suits everything from landscape and street photography to environmental portraiture, offering strong low-light performance and enough control over depth of field to isolate subjects when needed. The optical design uses two extra-low dispersion elements and three aspherical elements to control chromatic and spherical aberrations, while Nano Crystal and Super Integrated Coatings work together to suppress flare and ghosting for cleaner contrast and more accurate colour.

A stepping motor autofocus system delivers fast, quiet, and precise focusing for both stills and video, complete with full-time manual override for creative control. A programmable control ring adds quick access to focus, aperture, or exposure compensation without reaching for camera dials, and an electromagnetic aperture mechanism keeps exposure consistent during fast continuous shooting. A rounded nine-blade diaphragm produces smooth, natural-looking bokeh, while weather-sealed construction protects the lens barrel from dust and moisture on location.

Bright f/1.8 Maximum Aperture

The fast f/1.8 aperture performs well in low light and gives photographers precise control over depth of field, making it easy to isolate subjects against a soft, blurred background.

Stepping Motor Autofocus with Manual Override

A quiet stepping motor drives quick, accurate autofocus for both stills and video, while an internal focusing design keeps the barrel length constant during use. Full-time manual override lets you fine-tune focus at any time without switching modes.

Programmable Control Ring

A customisable control ring near the front of the lens can be assigned to manual focus, aperture, or exposure compensation, giving quick tactile control over key settings without leaving the viewfinder.

Weather-Sealed for Reliable Field Use

Dust- and moisture-resistant construction throughout the lens barrel protects internal components from the elements, supporting confident use in changeable outdoor conditions.
