Overview

The RED DIGITAL CINEMA KOMODO-X Conversion Kit (Nikon Z) lets existing KOMODO-X owners change their camera's lens mount from Canon RF to Nikon Z. Built from metal for a solid, long-lasting fit, the reinforced, locking mount is designed to handle the demands of high-performance Nikon Z lenses on set. It includes full electronic communication between camera and lens, plus toolless switching to other RED lens mounts for filmmakers who move between systems.

Eligibility Requirements

• For V-RAPTOR [X] RF and KOMODO-X RF cameras only.
• Does not apply to V-RAPTOR 8K VV or 8K S35.
• Does not apply to the original KOMODO.
• Z Mount is not available for V-RAPTOR XL.
• Camera must be shipped to RED to complete the conversion.

Nikon Z Lens Mount

The reinforced, locking Nikon Z lens mount delivers advanced iris, autofocus, and lens response control to match the performance of a native mount.
