RED DIGITAL CINEMA Compact EVF Overview
The RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED Compact EVF Pack outfits you with an electronic viewfinder and mounting accessories to integrate it into your DSMC3 camera configuration. The EVF is compatible with the V-RAPTOR, V-RAPTOR XL, and KOMODO-X cinema cameras. Use the EVF mount for optimal positioning and the DSMC3 Adapter A to facilitate power, video, and data delivery from your camera to the viewfinder. An 45 cm (18") EVF cable ensures efficient cable runs.
The RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED Compact EVF is designed as a single cable monitoring device for DSMC3 camera systems. It has a 1920 x 1080 resolution OLED display with customizable function buttons capable of quickly accessing tools like peaking or magnify. The buttons can also toggle different camera settings like ISO, frames per second, and white balance. The EVF has an adjustable diopter with a -2.5 to +2.5 correction range and includes a 1/4"-20 mount plate for third-party compatibility. Use the updated eyecup mounting system to replace the built-in eyecup when necessary.RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC3 Adapter
Use the RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC3 Adapter A to facilitate connection of your RED Compact EVF or DSMC2 RED EVF with your compatible V-RAPTOR, V-RAPTOR XL, or KOMODO-X cinema camera. The adapter features a LEMO 16-pin output power that provides power, video, and control connection to your EVF device. Secure the adapter to your camera of choice with the two 1/4"-20 screws. A Run-Stop pass-through attachment and two 1/4"-20 threads allows the camera operator to connect V-RAPTOR Compact Top Handles or compatible third-party accessories to the configuration.
RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED EVF Mount
Attach your RED Compact EVF or DSMC2 RED EVF to your compatible camera system using this RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED EVF Mount. The mount is a 15mm rod-based solution with a multi-axis telescoping design for easy positioning. A screw-on EVF clamp and thumbscrews make for a quick setup and integration of the separately available EVF Extension Arm. Laser-etched distance and angle markers ensure precise and intuitive adjustment.
