The cage is specially developed for the Sony A6000/A6300/A6500 and Nex-7 and it attaches securely to Sony A6000/A6300/A6500 with a 1/4"-20 fixinthe g on base plate. It allows you to access all controls of the camera, while protecting the camera body from the stress of attached accessories. 

The 1/4” threads on the cage provides you with a wide range of flexibility in attaching accessories, such as a top handle, EVF mount, tripod plate, cheese plate, etc.
