Overview
The DJI Avata 360 with RC 2 unlocks a new level of creative freedom by combining immersive 360° capture with high-performance FPV flight. Seamlessly switch between a single-lens 4K60 camera and a full 360° 8K60 HDR system to capture everything around you in a single flight. This allows you to reframe shots, create multiple perspectives, and produce complete cinematic sequences without needing to repeat takes. With advanced subject tracking, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, and enhanced safety features, the Avata 360 is designed for both dynamic FPV flying and professional-grade aerial filmmaking.
Core Features
- The dual-mode camera system allows seamless switching between a single-lens 4K60 view and a full 360° 8K60 HDR capture.
- The 360° camera records everything around the drone, enabling post-flight reframing and multiple creative perspectives from a single flight.
- ActiveTrack 360 and Spotlight tracking technologies help automatically follow subjects and create cinematic motion shots.
- The included RC 2 controller features a built-in 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen for real-time 1080p60 video monitoring.
- Omnidirectional obstacle sensing and Vision Assist provide enhanced situational awareness and safer flight operation.
- RockSteady and HorizonSteady stabilization technologies ensure smooth and stable footage even during high-speed flight.
- The O4+ transmission system delivers a clear and stable 1080p60 live feed from up to 20 km away.
- Integrated 42GB storage allows recording of approximately 30 minutes of 360° 8K video.
- The drone offers up to 23 minutes of flight time for extended shooting sessions.
RC 2 Controller
The RC 2 controller works with the O4+ video transmission system to deliver a smooth and responsive flying experience. It features a built-in 5.5-inch 10-point multi-touch 1080p display, allowing you to view a live 1080p60 feed from distances of up to 20 km without the need for an external device.
Dual-Mode Cameras
The Avata 360 offers a versatile imaging system with both a standard single-lens 4K60 camera and a 360° 8K60 HDR camera. The single-lens mode captures fast-paced FPV footage, while the 360° mode records everything in every direction, removing the drone from the final footage and allowing complete control over framing in post-production. Users can rotate, tilt, and adjust perspectives freely after filming.
Subject Tracking
ActiveTrack 360 and Spotlight technologies make it easy to capture professional-quality footage. ActiveTrack 360 automatically selects tracking modes such as Standard for consistent framing or Cycling for faster subject movement. Spotlight locks onto moving subjects and assists with dynamic camera movements, including pre-programmed patterns like Circle and Dronie. Spotlight Free allows full flight control while maintaining subject tracking for complex shots.
FPV Gimbal Mode
FPV Gimbal Mode introduces a natural rolling motion to footage, enhancing the sensation of speed and immersion. This effect can be applied during flight or added later in post-production for greater creative flexibility.
Stabilized Footage
RockSteady stabilization compensates for fast motion and wind, ensuring smooth video in both 360° and single-lens modes. HorizonSteady keeps the horizon level during full 360° rotations, delivering consistent and professional-looking footage in 360° mode.
Even Safer Flying
The Avata 360 features upgraded omnidirectional obstacle sensing with binocular vision sensors, along with Vision Assist that provides full-color 1080p views from the front, back, and sides. Forward-facing LiDAR enhances safety during night flights, while integrated propeller guards add an extra layer of protection during operation.
O4+ Transmission
The O4+ transmission system offers strong anti-interference performance and delivers a stable 1080p60 live video feed from distances of up to 20 km, ensuring reliable control and monitoring even in challenging environments.
DJI Fly and Studio
The DJI Fly and Studio apps provide powerful tools for editing and enhancing footage. Features include GyroFrame for intuitive camera angle control using your phone, one-tap reframing for quick edits, and full multi-platform editing capabilities for a seamless production workflow.
Additional Features
The Avata 360 supports 120MP photo capture in 360° mode and provides dual-channel 1080p60 color video transmission. It includes Easy ACRO for manual flight control, a replaceable front lens element, and Wi-Fi 6 for high-speed data transfer. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to wake the drone and transfer files at up to 100 MB/s without removing it from storage.
