Overview

The DZOFilm Arles Zoom 25-75mm T2.6 FF Cine Lens is a full-frame cine zoom with an ARRI PL mount and a constant T2.6 aperture across its 3x zoom range. It brings the soft, painterly look of the Arles primes to a compact zoom, so it suits narrative, commercial and documentary shooters who want a zoom that still looks like a prime.

Parfocal 3x Zoom Range

The 25 to 75mm range covers the most useful focal lengths for cine work, and the parfocal design holds focus as you zoom. Close focus stays constant at 51 cm from the sensor, with a maximum magnification of 0.23x at the long end. Paired with the separate Arles 65-180mm zoom, the two lenses overlap to cover 25 to 180mm. Matching gear positions and similar size make changing between them quick, even with a matte box and lens control motors fitted.

Full-Frame Painterly Rendering

The lens holds T2.6 from 25 to 75mm and covers full-frame sensors with a 43.5mm image circle, so more light reaches the sensor and images keep a three-dimensional, textured depth. A custom low-saturation blue coating gives a modern tone while keeping flares and ghosting down. Colour is warm and natural, with skin tones that sit well alongside the rest of the DZOFilm range, and a 16-blade iris gives soft, circular bokeh with a gentle, low-contrast look at wide apertures. Focus breathing stays minimal, so the framing holds steady during focus pulls.

Interchangeable Mount Flexibility

The lens ships with an ARRI PL mount, and its short rear flange allows the optional Canon EF mount to be fitted for cine, mirrorless and DSLR bodies. With Octopus adapters, autofocus adapters or VND adapters it adapts to L-Mount, Canon RF, DJI DX, FUJIFILM X, Nikon Z and Sony E cameras.
