The Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II is a redesigned, smaller, and lighter fast-aperture standard zoom offering major enhancements for both photo and video use. Delivering prime-like sharpness, smoother bokeh, reduced aberrations, and improved contrast, this G Master lens sets a new benchmark for performance.

Its advanced optical design includes two ED elements, two Super ED elements, five aspherical elements including two XA elements, and Nano AR Coating II for minimal flare and ghosting. The constant f/2.8 aperture ensures strong low-light capability and beautiful background separation.

Four XD Linear Motors provide extremely fast, precise, and quiet autofocus suitable for 30 fps shooting and high-end video production. The floating focus mechanism ensures sharp results at all focus distances, with a close-focus distance of 21 cm and 0.32× magnification.
