Overview

The Freewell Brandon Li VND/CPL Basic Kit (67mm) is a compact magnetic filter system designed for filmmakers and photographers who need fast, flexible exposure control while shooting in changing lighting conditions. Co-designed with filmmaker Brandon Li, the kit combines a locking 1 to 5-stop variable ND and circular polarizer with a stackable ND32 filter for expanded light reduction and enhanced creative control.

Built around a slim modular magnetic design, the system allows quick filter changes without slowing down your workflow. The kit is optimized for handheld, travel, and run-and-gun production setups while maintaining minimal color shift and improved wide-angle compatibility.

Flexible Exposure Control

The included 1 to 5-stop VND/CPL filter provides smooth exposure adjustment while simultaneously reducing reflections and glare. When paired with the included ND32 filter, the system expands to a total range of 6 to 10 stops for shooting in bright outdoor conditions while maintaining CPL functionality.

Magnetic Modular System

The magnetic base ring attaches directly to compatible 67mm lenses and serves as the foundation for the filter system. Filters snap into place magnetically and lock securely with a twist for reliable operation in fast-paced shooting environments.

Wide-Angle Friendly Design

The slim profile helps maintain compatibility with wide-angle lenses by minimizing vignetting and unwanted artifacts. The separate ND32 filter can also be used independently when additional flexibility is required for ultra-wide shooting setups.
