FUJIFILM's Compact All-Rounder for Stills and Video
The FUJIFILM X-S20 Mirrorless Camera pairs a 26.1MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with the X-Processor 5 engine, bringing flagship-level speed, autofocus, and video capability into a compact, approachable body. Five-axis in-body image stabilization rated to seven stops, internal 6.2K video, and FUJIFILM's acclaimed color science make it equally at home shooting stills and content for video and social platforms.
A dedicated Vlog mode on the mode dial, Product Priority and Background Defocus autofocus settings, and dual 3.5mm microphone and headphone jacks give creators direct control over their footage without digging through menus. A bright 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder and a 3.0-inch, 1.84m-dot vari-angle touchscreen round out a body built for both eye-level shooting and flexible, high- or low-angle framing.
26.1MP Sensor and X-Processor 5
The X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor combines with the X-Processor 5 image engine for fast readouts, improved low-light performance, and a native ISO range of 160-12800. The X-Trans design uses a randomized pixel array rather than a conventional Bayer pattern, omitting the optical low-pass filter to boost sharpness while reducing moiré and aliasing for more film-like tonal transitions. Continuous shooting reaches up to 20 fps with the electronic shutter (uncropped) or 8 fps with the mechanical shutter.
Deep-Learning Subject-Detection Autofocus
Powered by the X-Processor 5 and FUJIFILM's deep-learning AI, the X-S20's autofocus tracks and detects human faces and eyes alongside animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, and drones. An improved prediction algorithm keeps focus locked on continuously moving subjects, particularly in Zone AF and low-contrast conditions, while AUTO mode combines autofocus and subject detection automatically so nothing is left to chance.
6.2K and 4K Video Recording

Body Design and Handling
A 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder with 0.62x magnification offers bright, clear eye-level viewing, while the 3.0-inch, 1.84m-dot vari-angle touchscreen supports high, low, and front-facing angles and can be closed against the body for distraction-free shooting. A larger right-hand grip than its predecessor accommodates the bigger NP-W235 battery, and a dedicated exposure mode dial plus twin top dials give fast, direct control over exposure settings. The rear face supports the optional FUJIFILM FAN-001 Cooling Fan, which more than doubles maximum 6K recording time.
Film Simulation Modes
Nineteen Film Simulation modes recreate the look of FUJIFILM's classic film stocks, including Provia, Velvia, Astia, Classic Chrome, Classic Neg, PRO Neg, Eterna, Eterna Bleach Bypass, Acros, black and white, and sepia. A Grain Effect mode replicates the organic texture of old film photos, while Color Chrome and Color Chrome Blue effects deepen color and tonal response in higher-saturation scenes.
