Godox EazyFlow Octa 150 cm Foldable Softbox (Bowens Mount)

Overview

The Godox EazyFlow Octa 150 cm Foldable Softbox (Bowens Mount) is an octa-shaped light modifier designed to produce soft, flattering illumination for portraits, beauty work, interviews, and general photo or video production. Its 150 cm diameter creates a broad light source with smooth wrap and gentle falloff, making it especially well suited to subjects that benefit from soft, natural-looking light.

Built for fast and efficient workflows, this softbox features a quick release mechanism and foldable construction that simplify setup, breakdown, and transport. It includes a Bowens mount speed ring for immediate compatibility with a wide range of Bowens-mount fixtures, while the interchangeable speed ring system also allows the softbox to be adapted for other supported lighting platforms with optional mounts.

Core Features

• This octa-shaped softbox is designed to create a soft, pleasing quality of light for a wide range of photographic and video applications.
• Its 150 cm octagonal form provides broad, flattering coverage that works especially well for portraits, beauty lighting, and interviews.
• The quick release mechanism enables fast assembly and collapse for more efficient setup changes in studio and on-location environments.
• Its foldable construction allows the softbox to pack down flat for easier storage and transport between shoots.
• An included Bowens mount speed ring provides immediate compatibility with many Bowens-mount strobes and LED lights.
• The removable inner and outer diffusers help create soft, even illumination with smoother transitions and reduced harshness.
• The included fabric grid helps minimise spill and improves directional control for more selective lighting placement.
• Its interchangeable speed ring design supports optional adapters for use with other compatible lighting systems.

Large Octa Light Quality

The 150 cm octa format is ideal for photographers and videographers who want a larger, more enveloping source for flattering subject illumination. It produces a soft wraparound look that works beautifully for portraits, beauty work, fashion, interviews, and lifestyle content. The octagonal shape also helps create rounded catchlights in the eyes, which adds a more natural and polished appearance to people-focused imagery.

Soft and Even Output

Its 40 cm depth helps the light project evenly across the front diffusion surface, while the silver interior supports efficient output and consistent light distribution. With the inner and outer diffusers installed, the softbox creates broad, smooth illumination with gentle shadow falloff, helping users achieve refined and flattering results across a wide range of shooting conditions.

Grid and Diffusion Control

The included accessories allow the softbox to be configured for different lighting styles and shooting requirements. The diffusers soften and smooth the beam for a more even and forgiving look, while the detachable fabric grid narrows the spread and reduces unwanted spill onto the background or surrounding area. This added control is especially useful when greater subject separation or more precise light placement is needed.

Quick Setup for Mobile Workflows

Designed for photographers, videographers, and content creators who need efficient setup changes, the EazyFlow system avoids the slower and more cumbersome assembly process of traditional rod-based softboxes. It opens quickly, locks into place with minimal effort, and folds down just as easily when the shoot is complete. The compact folded form and included carry bag make it a practical option for portable lighting kits, location work, and streamlined studio setups.

Flexible Mount Compatibility

Although this version includes a Bowens speed ring, the EazyFlow series is designed to support other optional speed rings for broader compatibility across different lighting systems. This gives users more flexibility when expanding or standardising a lighting kit built around different strobe and LED ecosystems, making the softbox a versatile long-term accessory.
