Light Output & Color Performance

The P1200R Hard P8 is engineered for demanding lighting scenarios, offering exceptional brightness and color consistency across its entire output range. Its advanced RGB engine supports HSI, RGBW, X-Y, and GEL modes, allowing precise color matching and creative expression.

The eight-pixel design enables segmented color control, making it possible to create complex gradients, animated effects, and dynamic lighting cues directly from the fixture or through external control systems.

Precision Dimming & Effects

Smooth, flicker-free dimming from 0 to 100% is available with four selectable dimming curves—linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic—ensuring predictable response for both live and recorded applications.

Seventeen built-in FX modes provide ready-made lighting effects for scenarios such as fire, lightning, TV, or emergency lighting, with adjustable parameters for speed and intensity to suit creative needs.

Control & Integration

The fixture supports a wide range of professional control options, making it easy to integrate into complex lighting setups. Onboard controls with a rear dial and display allow quick adjustments, while wired and wireless solutions support advanced workflows.

DMX/RDM via 5-pin XLR, CRMX compatibility, and Bluetooth app control through the Godox Light app provide flexibility for studio rigs, multi-light networks, and remote operation. A USB-A port allows firmware updates to keep the fixture current.

Design & Durability

Housed in a robust IP65-rated enclosure, the P1200R Hard P8 is built for reliable performance in challenging environments, including outdoor and adverse weather conditions. Active fan cooling with selectable modes ensures sustained high-output operation while balancing noise and thermal performance.

The large panel measures approximately 73.7 x 38.6 cm, providing broad, even illumination. A manually operated yoke with a 1-1/8" stud mount supports secure mounting on professional stands and rigs.

The fixture operates across a wide temperature range of approximately -20 to 45°C, making it suitable for both cold and hot shooting environments.
