Overview

The Godox SL300 PaletteLab RGB LED Light is a full-spectrum LED monolight built for film, broadcast, and video production, combining Godox's PaletteLab color engine with a compact, all-in-one body. It suits video shooters and content creators who need accurate, consistent color without the color breaks common to standard LED fixtures, backed by 92% Rec.2020 gamut coverage, CRI/TLCI ratings of 98 and 99, and a native Bowens mount for the wider Godox modifier ecosystem. With its included reflector, the light can output up to 88,800 lux at 1 m, giving it enough punch for demanding video and broadcast setups.

Bright, Adjustable Output

With the included reflector, the SL300 RF reaches up to 88,800 lux at 1 m (5600K); see the Specifications table for the full photometric breakdown across color temperatures and distances. Color temperature ranges from 1800 to 10,000K with green/magenta shift from -100 to +100%, and brightness dims from 0 to 100% across linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic curves, with default, smooth, and off smoothing settings to match the scene.

RGBW Modes and 14 Lighting Effects

An RGBW mode (red, green, blue, and white) works alongside RGBW, HSI, CCT, XY, and GEL color modes for quick access to a full spectrum of colors. A dedicated FX mode adds 14 preprogrammed lighting effects, including flash, lightning, cloudy, broken bulb, TV, candle, fire, firework, explosion, welding, police car, SOS, RGB cycle, and party, for creative in-camera effects.

PaletteLab Color Engine

High CRI and TLCI ratings of 98 and 99 support accurate color reproduction and cleaner images, with optimized rendering for natural skin tones. The PaletteLab engine also adds three calibrated response curves, the Godox curve, Blackbody curve, and TM-30 curve, to match color rendering to the project.

Local, DMX, and App Control

Color, dimming, and other settings can be adjusted locally on the fixture, over DMX/RDM, or wirelessly through an app.

• Bluetooth control up to 30 m via the Godox Light smartphone app, or an optional TimoLink TRX transceiver for CRMX.
• DMX/RDM control for integration into larger, more advanced lighting setups.

Fan Cooling and AC Power

A built-in fan regulates temperature with auto, medium, high, and mute settings, and the mute setting quiets fan noise for sound-sensitive shoots and cleaner audio recording. The fixture draws up to 330 W and runs on 100 to 240 VAC for use worldwide.

Bowens Mount Versatility

A Bowens mount accepts the included reflector along with a wide range of optional modifiers to narrow, diffuse, or sculpt the light, and an integrated U-shaped bracket adds flexibility for mounting on most light stands. The fixture measures 33.2 x 27.89 x 23.01 cm and weighs 4 kg.
