True 8K 360° Video

The MAX2 captures panoramic 8K video simply by pressing the shutter—no framing required. Dual lenses record the full 360° field of view, and footage can be easily reframed into UHD 4K using the GoPro Quik app. Support for 10-bit color ensures smooth gradients and natural reproduction, while GP-Log unlocks greater tonal flexibility for advanced color work.

Multiple Creative Modes

Shoot 29MP 360° stills and reframe them to perfection. Super Slo-Mo offers UHD 4K100 (3× slow motion) and 5.6K60 (2× slow motion). MotionFrame enables intuitive, phone-driven keyframing. CameraFX adds Spin, Flip, Roll, Wobble, Tiny Planet, and more stylised effects. TimeWarp, Time-Lapse, and Night-Lapse deliver stabilized time-based capture in 8K, while dedicated night effects let you paint with natural or artificial light. Scheduled Capture allows your GoPro to power on and record automatically up to 24 hours ahead.

Single-Lens Video and Max HyperView

Capture classic GoPro-style 4K60 footage by selecting either lens for a traditional forward- or backward-facing view. The 180° Max HyperView digital lens produces an ultra-wide immersive perspective, complemented by Linear, Wide, Ultra Wide, and Max SuperView options for creative framing control.

HyperSmooth Stabilization and Horizon Lock
