Overview

The Hollyland LARK M3 Clip-On Microphone Transmitter is an ultracompact wireless microphone made for interviews, multi-person shoots and other production setups. It works with both the USB-C and camera-mount LARK M3 receivers, which are sold separately, and one transmitter can pair with up to four receivers at once.

Its built-in omnidirectional mic records 32-bit float audio through the receiver, while AI noise cancellation and eight vocal presets help voices sound clean. On the 2.4 GHz band it reaches up to 305 m in open space, and an RF interference-resistant circuit keeps it working in crowded environments. The internal battery runs for up to 9 hours.

32-Bit Float Audio

With a receiver, the transmitter records 48 kHz / 32-bit float on iOS devices and 24-bit on Android. A 70 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 125 dB maximum SPL cover everything from quiet speech to loud peaks, and Auto-Limit Clip Protection helps keep sudden loud sounds from distorting, so a laugh or a shout is less likely to spoil a take.

Voice Processing

• AI noise cancellation uses deep learning to suppress sudden and constant background noise, with three adjustable levels of 10, 15 and 20 dB
• One-tap vocal enhancement with de-essing to smooth harsh "s" sounds
• Eight vocal presets suit different voices and recording situations, and can be fine-tuned in the app and compared with the original audio
• Each transmitter can use its own preset, to suit each speaker

Clip-On Design

At 9 g, the button-sized transmitter clips on or attaches magnetically without dragging on clothing, so it stays discreet on camera. The built-in omnidirectional mic picks up sound from every direction, a furry windshield is included for recording outdoors, and the internal rechargeable battery runs for up to 9 hours.
