Overview
The JJC LH-JXF23M2 Magnetic Square Lens Hood for FUJIFILM XF 23mm & XF 27mm f/2.8 (Silver) is a lens hood designed to go with the lenses listed under Compatibility. It is a square-fronted hood. With the front extended, accidental impacts are less likely to hit the glass. The non-glare matte finish inside helps limit lens flare and reflections. Stray light that would cause flare is kept out because the hood shades the lens front.
You will not see vignetting with it attached. Once the adapter ring is on the lens, the hood attaches and detaches quickly by magnetic attraction. Its matte, anti-reflective interior also reduces ghosting, and it does not interfere with 39mm filters or the lens cap after installation.
