The filter offers 84% light transmittance, creating a soft, pastel-like light quality. It provides more contrast and highlight reduction than the 1/8 density but less than the 1/2 density.

Constructed with high-quality optical glass, the filter includes 28 multicoated layers making it waterproof, scratch resistant, and oilproof. It is encased in a slim, aviation-grade aluminum frame with machined grooves for easy handling.
