The Kondor Blue Mini Lock Quick Release System (Male Plate Only, Raven Black) is a compact quick release plate designed for rapid mounting and removal of accessories such as magic arms, monitors, microphones, and other rig components. This male plate component pairs with a separately available Mini Lock female base receiver, locking securely via a quick release lever system.

Smaller and more feature-rich than previous mini quick release plates, it maintains full compatibility with earlier Mini Quick Release plate models and ecosystem accessories, making it ideal for expanding or upgrading an existing setup.

Design & Mounting Options

The Mini Lock male plate features a female ARRI-style mount and a male 1/4"-20 ARRI-style mount with removable 3 mm anti-twist pins that can be conveniently stored within the plate itself. An integrated NATO rail further expands mounting flexibility for compatible accessories.

Multiple mounting options—including 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads—allow secure attachment of various accessories. All configurations work in conjunction with the centralized M4 set screw to maintain a precise and stable connection.

Secure Locking Mechanism

Due to the compact footprint of the Mini Lock system, tight tolerances are essential for reliable performance. The safety latch remains fixed when open and incorporates an integrated M4 nylon-tipped set screw for micro-adjustments.

Using the included 2 mm hex wrench, users can fine-tune the plate-to-plate fit. The nylon tip glides smoothly across the mating surface to eliminate any potential movement without scratching or marring the finish.
