Overview
The Kupo 158MB Compact Steadicam Stand is built to rest heavier payloads such as steadicam rigs and stabiliser systems between takes, in a footprint that is far easier to transport and store than a full-size steadicam stand. Constructed from black powder coated steel with a 36kg loading weight, it folds upright on its own to save space and carries a welded 5/8" (16mm) baby stud on top for mounting heavier lighting fixtures as well.
Removable Moses Pole
The central pole lifts out of the base and doubles as a Moses pole, letting the steadicam operator take a break when the docking stand itself is too bulky to carry between setups. The same tube can also support the centre of a slider system to stop it sagging when rigged under a dolly.
Optional Accessories
- KC-215S caster wheels with premium pneumatic tyres, for rolling on uneven ground or in the studio.
- KS-112 stand tray for extra tool and accessory storage.
