Overview
Built from black powder coated steel, the Kupo 163MBC Steadicam Stand with Braked Casters is designed to rest heavier payloads such as steadicam rigs and stabiliser systems between takes. It ships with 8" premium pneumatic tyres already fitted, so it rolls easily around the studio or across uneven location ground, and it is a staple tool for steadicam operators, camera assistants and dolly grips alike.
Removable Moses Pole
The central pole detaches from the base and doubles as a Moses pole, letting the operator take a break when the large docking stand cannot easily be carried. The same tube can also support the centre of a slider system to prevent sagging when rigged under a dolly, and the welded 5/8" (16mm) baby stud on top also takes heavier lighting fixtures.
Braked Casters for Location Work
The included KC-215S caster set brakes to lock the stand firmly in position once it is wheeled into place, and folds upright on its own when not in use to keep the footprint small in a packed studio or truck.
