Overview

The Kupo 146M Boom & Stand Combo is a heavy-duty lighting support designed for professional photographers and videographers who need both strength and versatility in their studio or location setup. Constructed from durable chromed steel, this stand offers superior stability compared to aluminium alternatives while supporting heavier lighting and grip equipment.

Designed as a dual-purpose solution, the stand functions as a traditional light stand but can quickly convert into a boom stand using its second riser pivot. By extending the second column fully and engaging the lever mechanism, the stand transforms into a two-section boom arm, providing flexible positioning for lights, microphones, and modifiers.

The adjustable boom arm extends from 111 cm to 191 cm and can support loads up to 5 kg when used with a counterweight. For additional safety and balance during boom operation, an empty sandbag is included. A solid welded 5/8" (16 mm) baby pin ensures secure mounting of lighting fixtures and accessories, while the included cable clips help maintain a clean and organised setup.
