XCHANGE Quick Release System
An advanced quick release system with a simple twist-lock mechanism lets you instantly swap heads, sliders, and other accessories. With optional plates fitted with a 3/8"-16 mounting screw, most heads and support systems can work directly with the tripod.
Leveling Column with Q90 Mechanism
A unique leveling column brings video-style leveling technology to a hybrid stills and video tripod, with a lever for quick, accurate levelling. The column has a detachable section for a ground-level working height, and Manfrotto's Q90 mechanism seamlessly shifts it into a 90-degree position for overhead shots.
Easy Link Attachment Thread
An integrated Easy Link thread gives you an attachment point for accessories such as arms, with anti-rotation points for compatible support systems.
XTEND Leg Locking Mechanism
Each leg's three sections use the XTEND locking mechanism, with a single large lever at the top of each leg that locks and unlocks all sections at once for fast setup.
Custom Design & Modular Feet
Standard rubber feet can be removed to reveal spikes for more stable shooting on demanding terrain, and a custom non-round leg section shape adds rigidity against multiple types of flexing.
500X Fluid Head
The 500X fluid head bridges stills and video technology in one head, supporting hybrid camera rigs up to 5kg. A Fluid Drag System (FDS) smooths both pan and tilt movements, backed by a built-in counterbalance system for more control over your camera.
