Metabones T CINE Smart Mark II Adapter for Canon EF Lens to Micro Four Thirds Camera (Silver)

Overview

The Metabones T CINE Smart Mark II Adapter for Canon EF Lens to Micro Four Thirds Camera takes EF-S lenses as well as EF, with electronic communication so autofocus (including phase-detection AF on supported cameras), aperture control, Exif data and image stabilisation can work with supported lenses. Power comes from the camera or an optional 5 V source, and this version has a silver exterior.

Adapter Design

• Positive-lock EF mount that holds the lens securely
• Brass mounting rings that resist wear
• Rubber gasket that keeps dust and moisture away from the Micro Four Thirds mount
• Removable tripod collar with a detachable Arca-Type foot and a 1/4"-20 thread
• Matte-black interior that reduces reflections inside the barrel

Lens Limitations

Some lenses are not compatible or lose features. The Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 VC USD A005 does not work, several Tamron, Tokina and Sigma zooms lose autofocus or stabilisation, and some lenses need the external 5 V supply for iris control. Check Metabones' compatibility list before you buy for a specific lens.
