Metabones T CINE eND Smart Lens Mount Adapter for Canon EF Lens to Sony E Camera

Overview

The Metabones T CINE eND Smart Adapter mounts Canon EF and EF-S lenses on a Sony E camera, full-frame or APS-C, and adds a built-in electronic variable ND filter that you can swap for clear glass in a moment. It passes lens data to the camera, so autofocus, aperture control and stabilisation can keep working with supported lenses.

The positive-lock EF mount adds security when you mount big lenses, the adapter is powered by the camera, and it can switch to APS-C capture when it detects a smaller-format lens. It is also compatible with the Sony PXW-FS7M2.

Switchable Variable ND

Flip between a clear glass filter and a variable ND filter without taking the adapter off the camera, a cinema-style way to hold your exposure steady as the light changes. An OLED panel on the top shows the operating mode and the filter status at a glance, so you always know which one is in place.

• Phase-detect and contrast-detect AF support, with phase-detect on the Sony a9 II, a9, a7 IV, a7 III, a7R II, a7R III, a7R IV, a7 II, a6500, a6400, a6300 and a6100
• Aperture control from the camera body, plus auto exposure and Exif data in your files
• Smooth iris effects with select Canon (2009 and later), Tamron SP (2013 and later) and Sigma (2016 and later) lenses
• Electronic manual focusing on focus-by-wire lenses such as the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II
• A switch for in-body image stabilisation, and a programmable function button for quick access to common settings
