Overview
The FUJIFILM GFX100 II Medium Format Mirrorless Camera pairs a new 102MP sensor with the X-Processor 5 engine to deliver a commanding second-generation flagship in FUJIFILM's medium format GFX line, built for photographers and filmmakers who need exceptional resolution and dynamic range. A massive 9.44m-dot electronic viewfinder, 8 stops of in-body stabilization, and improved autofocus tracking make it a versatile tool for demanding stills and video work, while internal ProRes recording and Frame.io Camera to Cloud integration extend it into a capable video production camera as well.
102MP Sensor with X-Processor 5
A new 102MP 43.8 x 32.9mm BSI CMOS sensor pairs with the X-Processor 5 for fast operation, wide dynamic range, and strong image quality even at higher ISO sensitivities. Internal subject detection and enhanced autofocus algorithms give the camera reliable tracking that keeps subjects in focus as they move through the frame.
9.44m-Dot Electronic Viewfinder
The 9.44m-dot EVF offers 120 fps live view and 5 fps of blackout-free shooting through the mechanical shutter, keeping the viewfinder responsive during fast-moving sequences. Combined with up to 8 fps continuous shooting, it supports confident framing and tracking across a range of subjects.
4K60p Internal ProRes Recording
- Internal recording is available in 4:2:2, 10-bit Apple ProRes, using the full width of the 55mm sensor at up to 4K/60p.
- HDMI output supports 12-bit 4:2:2 Apple ProRes RAW or Blackmagic RAW at resolutions up to 8K/30p.
- Recording direct to ProRes or RAW skips the need to transcode footage before colour grading in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro.
8 Stops of In-Body Stabilization
In-body image stabilization rated to 8 stops allows slower handheld shutter speeds with significantly less camera shake, and reduces reliance on higher ISO settings in lower light for better overall image quality.
Variable GF Cine Crop
Multiple crops and aspect ratios cover several cinema formats, including full-width GF Format, Fujinon PREMISTA (Vista Vision), and 35mm. Paired with a GF to PL adapter, the 55mm large format sensor works with premium cinema optics, including FUJIFILM's Fujinon PREMISTA and CABRIO Zoom lenses, and two high-resolution 35mm anamorphic recording modes offer various in-camera de-squeeze monitoring options.
Frame.io Camera to Cloud Integration
Built-in Wi-Fi or Ethernet LAN connects the camera directly to Frame.io without additional accessories, letting you deliver high-resolution raw or JPEG images, send H.264 video proxies, or upload 8K ProRes video for secure review shortly after it's captured.
