Nikon's Ultra-Wide DX Zoom
The Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 12-24mm f/4G IF-ED pairs an ultra-wide focal range with a constant f/4 maximum aperture, giving an 18-36mm full-frame equivalent field of view on DX-format cameras. It suits landscape, architectural and interior subjects where a wide angle of view and consistent exposure across the zoom range matter most.
Constant f/4 Aperture
A constant f/4 maximum aperture holds exposure and light transmission steady throughout the zoom range, making it easier to work with consistent settings from wide to tele.
Sharp, Low-Aberration Optics
Three aspherical elements reduce spherical aberration and distortion for sharp imagery with accurate rendering, while two extra-low dispersion elements cut down colour fringing and chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and colour accuracy.
Super Integrated Coating
A Super Integrated Coating applied to individual elements suppresses internal reflections, flare and ghosting, improving contrast and colour accuracy in strong lighting conditions.
Fast, Quiet Autofocus
A Silent Wave Motor delivers quick, quiet and precise autofocus with full-time manual override, while an internal focusing design keeps the lens length constant during use and helps focusing stay fast.
Smooth Seven-Blade Bokeh
A rounded seven-blade diaphragm promotes a pleasing out-of-focus quality, benefiting shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques.
