Nikon's Long-Reach Superzoom Bridge Camera
The Nikon COOLPIX P900 is a superzoom bridge camera built around an 83x optical zoom NIKKOR lens, covering an extraordinary 24-2000mm full-frame equivalent focal length range. Paired with a 16MP CMOS sensor and Dual Detect Optical VR stabilization, it's designed for reaching distant subjects such as wildlife, sports and even the moon, while a vari-angle LCD, electronic viewfinder and full manual exposure control keep it flexible for a range of shooting styles.
83x Optical Zoom with Dual Detect VR
The 4.3-357mm (24-2000mm full-frame equivalent) NIKKOR lens delivers an 83x optical zoom range for shooting distant subjects, from wildlife to sporting events. Dual Detect Optical VR reduces camera shake by up to five stops, helping keep handheld shots steady at extreme focal lengths.
Extended Reach with Digital Zoom
Beyond the optical range, 166x Dynamic Fine Zoom effectively doubles the lens's reach, while 332x digital zoom quadruples it. A Snap-Back Zoom button offers a quick zoomed-out view to relocate a subject before zooming back in.
Vari-Angle LCD and Electronic Viewfinder
A 3" 921k-dot vari-angle TFT LCD with 6-level brightness adjustment supports comfortable composing and reviewing from a range of shooting angles, while a 921k-dot electronic viewfinder offers a convenient eye-level alternative.
- 16MP CMOS sensor delivers high-resolution images with low noise.
- Full HD 1080/60p video recording, with additional frame rate and high-speed modes available.
- Built-in Wi-Fi and NFC support quick photo sharing via Nikon SnapBridge.
- Built-in GPS records the location where images were shot.
Auto and Full Manual Exposure Control
Alongside Programmed Auto, Night Mode, Portrait and Landscape scene modes, the P900 offers a full manual control suite with Program, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority and Manual exposure modes for more hands-on control over each shot.
