Overview

The NiSi 16mm f/2.8 ASPH. Lens is an ultra-wide prime built for Hasselblad X-mount medium format mirrorless cameras. With a full-frame equivalent focal length of 12.6mm and a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture, it suits landscapes, architecture, interiors, and night sky photography where a wide field of view and strong light-gathering ability both matter. A manual focus design gives you precise, deliberate control over focus placement, while the clicked aperture ring adds tactile feedback when adjusting exposure.

Built around 16 elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical and four ultra-low dispersion elements, the lens is engineered to control distortion, spherical aberration, and colour fringing for sharp, accurate results across the frame. A weather-sealed metal barrel protects against moisture and dust, and an included magnetic filter adapter ring makes it easy to attach compatible filters without threading.

Aspherical and ULD Glass Elements

Three aspherical elements reduce distortion and spherical aberration for high sharpness and accurate rendering, while four ultra-low dispersion elements control colour fringing and chromatic aberration for accurate colour and high clarity.

Antireflective and Hard Surface Coatings

8-Blade Aperture for Sun Stars

A distinct 8-blade aperture design creates 8-point sun stars from specular highlights throughout the aperture range, adding a distinctive look to backlit and high-contrast scenes.

Magnetic Filter Adapter Ring Included

The lens ships with a NiSi 82mm JetMag Pro 95MAG magnetic filter adapter ring, letting you attach JetMag Pro system 95MAG filters magnetically onto the 82mm filter thread without a separate holder.
