NiSi JetMag Pro Prolock Luminous 58mm-82MAG Magnetic Adaptor Ring

Overview

The NiSi JetMag Pro Prolock Luminous 58mm-82MAG Magnetic Adaptor Ring adapts lenses with a 58mm front filter thread to the JetMag Pro 82MAG magnetic filter system. Built with full aluminium construction, this upgraded adapter ring is designed for photographers who work in the dark, from astrophotography and star trails to fast-changing sunsets, where fitting and locking an adapter ring by feel would otherwise slow you down. An enlarged ProLock locking area holds filters more securely, while glow-in-the-dark lock markings make the ring faster and easier to fit, align, and lock in low light.

Enlarged ProLock Locking Area

The upgraded ProLock design features a significantly wider locking section than a standard adapter ring, delivering a stronger, more secure hold and helping prevent accidental loosening from unintended contact during normal handling. The wider locking range also keeps filters secure even after slight rotation, such as when fine-tuning a circular polariser or adjusting a variable ND, so the adapter stays locked to the lens while you dial in the filter above it.

Glow-in-the-Dark Lock Markings

Specially formulated glow-in-the-dark markings absorb ambient or torch light and continue to glow in darkness, so a quick glance shows exactly where the lock position sits. This lets you align, fit, and secure the ring without interrupting your workflow or ruining your night vision with a bright light, ideal for astrophotography sessions, star trail shoots, and pre-dawn landscape starts.

JetMag Pro Magnetic Filter System

Once the ProLock ring is threaded onto your lens, the JetMag Pro magnetic system takes over: compatible 82MAG filters snap into place in seconds and hold securely while you shoot, with no re-threading required. The ring works with the complete JetMag Pro 82MAG line-up of filters and magnetic front caps, including:

• ND
• CPL
• VND
• Natural Night
• Star Soft
• Magnetic Front Caps

Knurled Grip for Secure Handling

A precision-milled knurled surface wraps the outside of the ring, ensuring a firm grip and no slip during critical adjustments. Attachment and removal stay quick and positive even with gloves, cold fingers, or wet hands, which matters when you are setting up in the dark or racing changing light.

Lightweight Aluminium Construction

Full aluminium construction delivers a lightweight yet durable body that resists corrosion and withstands harsh environments, from coastal spray to alpine cold. The 58mm-82MAG version brings the same upgraded locking experience to lenses with a 58mm front thread.
