Olympus's Speed-Focused MFT Flagship
The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III is a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera built for speed, versatility, and portability across stills and video. A 20.4MP Live MOS sensor pairs with the TruePic IX image processor to deliver fast continuous shooting, 4K video recording, and sensitivity up to ISO 25600. A durable magnesium alloy body with extensive weather-sealing supports use in demanding conditions.
Fast Sensor and Image Processor
The 20.4MP Live MOS sensor and TruePic IX processor combine for continuous shooting up to 15 fps with the mechanical shutter or 60 fps with the electronic shutter, along with a sensitivity range up to ISO 25600 for working in a wide variety of lighting conditions.
4K Video with OM-Log Support
DCI and UHD 4K video recording are supported at up to 30p, alongside Full HD and HD options. An OM-Log gamma setting extends dynamic range for greater flexibility during colour grading, and 4:2:2 8-bit output over HDMI supports external recorders and monitors.
121-Point Cross-Type Autofocus
An advanced autofocus system combines 121 cross-type phase-detection points with 121 contrast-detection areas for fast, accurate focusing and subject tracking, with dedicated modes for wildlife, portraits, and low-light or night-sky subjects.
5-Axis Sensor-Shift Stabilization
In-body 5-axis sensor-shift stabilization compensates for up to 7 stops of camera shake, rising to 7.5 stops when paired with select stabilized lenses, for sharper handheld shooting in stills and video.
Weather-Sealed Magnesium Alloy Body
A magnesium alloy body with extensive weather-sealing supports shooting in dusty and wet conditions, complemented by a 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder and a 3.0" vari-angle touchscreen for flexible composing and playback.
