Leica-Branded Fast Standard Prime

The Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm f/1.4 II ASPH. is a bright, normal-length prime for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras, equivalent to 50mm in full-frame terms. A fast f/1.4 maximum aperture affords notable control over depth of field and suits working in low-light conditions, making it a natural fit for everyday, portrait and low-light shooting.

Its optical design incorporates one ultra-high refractive index element and two aspherical elements to reduce spherical aberration and distortion, while a Nano Surface Coating applied to individual elements suppresses flare and ghosting for greater contrast in harsh lighting.

Quick, Quiet Autofocus Performance

A stepping autofocus motor paired with an internal focusing design delivers quick, quiet focus performance suited to both photo and video applications.

Weather-Resistant Version II Build

This Version II of the lens features a dust- and splash-resistant design to suit use in inclement conditions, and a rounded seven-blade diaphragm produces a smooth out-of-focus quality for shallow depth of field work.
