All-Weather Superzoom with f/2.8 Reach
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 blends a 24x all-in-one zoom, 4K video and versatile stills shooting into a single, dust- and splash-proof body built for content creators who want reach without swapping lenses. A 12.1MP High-Sensitivity MOS sensor and Venus Engine processor drive fast shooting and 4K capture, while the constant f/2.8 aperture Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens holds its brightness right across the 25-600mm equivalent zoom range.
12.1MP Sensor and Venus Engine
The sensor and processor combination enables a top sensitivity of ISO 6400, along with continuous shooting up to 12 fps at full resolution with the mechanical shutter, or up to 60 fps using the electronic shutter.
4K UHD Video and 4K Photo Modes
- Records 4K UHD video at up to 30p and Full HD at up to 60p, plus slow-motion 720p/120 and 480p/240.
- 4K Burst mode captures continuous 8MP stills at 30 fps for up to nearly 30 minutes.
- 4K Pre-Burst records one second before and after the shutter press, giving 60 frames to choose from.
- A built-in stereo microphone captures audio, with a 3.5mm jack available for an external microphone.
Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 24x Zoom
The built-in lens spans a 25-600mm equivalent range with a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture throughout, aided by five aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to control chromatic aberration, plus a Nano Surface Coating to reduce flare and ghosting.
5-Axis Hybrid Stabilization
5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S.+ compensates for five types of camera shake during handheld video recording, while a Level Shot function keeps the horizon steady even if the camera tilts during a shot.
Body Design and Connectivity
A 1.44m-dot OLED viewfinder and a free-angle 3.0" touchscreen LCD support shooting from a range of angles, while extensive weather sealing at every joint, dial and button makes the body splash- and dust-proof. Built-in Wi-Fi allows wireless image sharing and remote control from the Panasonic Image App.
