A new 24.2MP full-frame sensor and updated processing engine bring Phase Hybrid AF to a LUMIX camera for the first time, delivering fast, precise autofocus alongside high-resolution imaging. Full-frame 6K video recording and unlimited 4K capture make this a versatile choice for hybrid shooters, while a new Active I.S. system improves stabilization for walking shots on video.
Phase Hybrid Autofocus System
779 phase-detection points combine with contrast detection for fast, accurate focusing across a wide range of scenes, including backlit or low-light situations with multiple subjects.
6K and Unlimited 4K Recording
Full-frame 6K30p video can be recorded internally with 4:2:0 10-bit colour for up to 30 minutes, while DCI and UHD 4K60p recording in 4:2:2 10-bit is unlimited. 120p capture is also supported for slow-motion work, and V-Log is pre-installed for a flat, neutral gamma curve with an equivalent 14+ stops of dynamic range.
Dual I.S. 2 with Active Stabilization
A 5-axis sensor-shift stabilization system compensates for approximately 6.5 stops of camera shake for sharper handheld photography, while a newly developed Active I.S. mode further stabilizes footage for walking shots when recording video.
High-Resolution OLED Viewfinder
A 3.68m-dot OLED viewfinder offers a clear 0.78x magnification with a smooth 60fps or 120fps refresh rate, while the 3.0" 1.84m-dot free-angle touchscreen LCD suits shooting from high, low, and front-facing angles.
Dual UHS-II Card Slots
Two UHS-II-compatible SD card slots offer flexible storage options, letting you separate raw and JPEG files, save duplicates across both cards, or record with overflow for extra capacity.
Weather-Sealed Magnesium Body
