PolarPro 72mm McKinnon 135 Series Gold Mist Filter (Grade 1/4)

Overview

The PolarPro 72mm McKinnon 135 Series Gold Mist Filter (Grade 1/4) adds a warm, nostalgic glow to images by lowering contrast and giving highlights a golden tone, reminiscent of classic film photography. It suits portraits and landscapes, softening details and enhancing warmth for a cinematic, timeless look.

German Chroma glass keeps the optics clear while it adds a subtle diffusion, and the weather-sealed aluminium frame protects it in varied conditions. Its vintage film-reel-inspired canister case adds a nostalgic touch. A Sunny 16 rule cheat sheet inside the cap gives quick exposure guidance. With 90% light transmission and 1/4 diffusion strength it balances warmth and clarity for a softer, more atmospheric look. It screws onto lenses with a 72mm filter thread. The coating resists fingerprints and scratches. Highlights come out warmer while shadows stay neutral.
