PolarPro 67mm QuartzLine Circular Polariser Filter

Overview

The PolarPro 67mm QuartzLine Circular Polariser Filter is a screw-in circular polariser (CPL) that reduces glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass and leaves. It also cuts the haze that sunlight scatters through the air, giving skies and foliage richer, more saturated colour.

The circular design keeps autofocus and auto exposure working normally, which a linear polariser can upset, so it suits digital cameras and video lenses with a 67mm filter thread. Turning the knurled ring changes the strength of the effect, and it costs about 1.3 stops of light (a 2.5x filter factor).

Construction

• Quartz glass construction for extra durability
• 16 layers of anti-reflection coating leave the glass multi- and resistance-coated, guarding against ghosting, reflections and scratches
