Overview
The Aputure MC Pro RGB LED Light Panel brings expanded connectivity, an IP65 weather-resistance rating, and RGBWW colour control to Aputure's compact, pocket-sized MC fixture design, making it a versatile light for film, broadcast, and video production. An upgraded optical design and LED chipset give the MC Pro a wide 2000 to 10,000K colour temperature range and a tighter 45° beam spread for increased intensity, and it can add colour to a scene, serve as an in-camera practical effect, or work as a portable fill or accent light. Control is available onboard via a TFT colour display, remotely through the Sidus Link app, or via wired and wireless DMX/RDM and LumenRadio CRMX.
Wide Colour Control and Output
- Colour temperature ranges from 2000 to 10,000K with green/magenta adjustability.
- The light outputs up to 396 lux at 1m (5600K), with 0 to 100% stepless brightness control.
- Colour reproduction reaches up to 90% of the Rec. 2020 gamut, with CRI and TLCI scores of 96 for faithful skin tones.
- Additional accuracy metrics include CQS 95, SSI (D56) 72, SSI (Tungsten) 82, TM-30 Rf 94, and TM-30 Rg 103.
- Advanced HSI control offers white-point CCT adjustability alongside RGB, GEL, and XY colour modes.
Onboard, App, and Wireless Control
- The Sidus Link app controls the light over Bluetooth from up to 80m away.
- Wired DMX/RDM control is available using Aputure's Active USB-C to 5-Pin DMX Adapter, sold separately.
- LumenRadio CRMX wireless control has a range of up to 100m.
Built-In Special Effects
Fifteen preset special effects cover simulations such as fireworks, fire, paparazzi, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, cop car, lightning, party lights, welding, colour chase, candle, strobe, explosion, and club lights. Manual FX, System FX, Picker FX, Magic Program, and Music FX modes give further creative control, and up to 10 Custom FX and 10 Music FX presets can be saved and recalled through the Sidus Link app.
Magnetic Mounting and Portability
The fixture features a 1/4"-20 receiver plus powerful rear-mounted magnets for attaching to metal surfaces, and fits easily in the palm of your hand for use in tight spaces. The included cold shoe ball head lets you mount the light directly to a camera, cage, or rig via its 1/4"-20 screw mount, and a flat diffuser, dome diffuser, and 30° grid are included to shape and control light dispersion.
IP65 Build and Battery Life
Rated IP65 for weather resistance, the light can be used safely outdoors or in wet conditions. Its USB-rechargeable battery runs for up to two hours at maximum output and recharges in around 90 minutes via USB-C, and a carry bag is included to store and transport the light between shoots.
