Overview

The PolarPro Basecamp Matte Box Kit with Variable ND (2 to 5-Stop) & Polarizer Filters is a very lightweight, compact matte box made for drone and aerial use. It takes dedicated Basecamp filters with integrated frames for easy, toolless mounting, and this kit comes ready to shoot with a variable ND filter (2 to 5 stops) and a circular polarizer.

A top flag blocks glare and bright reflections from reaching your lens, and a soft case and microfibre cleaning cloth are included. With a separately available adapter, the matte box can also be mounted on a 15mm LWS rod system.

Two-Filter Capacity

The matte box holds one square Basecamp filter with an integrated frame in its slide-in tray, and one round filter in its built-in slot. In this kit those are the variable ND and the circular polarizer, so you can darken the image and reduce reflections and haze with a single setup.

Lens Mounting Options

Clamp rings in 80, 87, 95, 100, 104 and 110mm sizes fit compatible lenses, and thread plates let the matte box fit lenses with 77mm or 82mm front threads. Together with the lightweight, compact build and toolless mounting, that keeps the matte box quick to put on and light on the rig.
