Overview
Built to suit the lenses listed under Compatibility, the JJC LH-XF1545II Petal Lens Hood & 52mm Adapter Ring for FUJIFILM XC 15-45mm & XF 18mm (Black) is a dedicated lens hood. This one is a petal-shaped hood. When it is not in use it flips round and stays on the lens, taking up less room in the bag. Image corners stay clear, with no vignetting from the hood. Its job is to shade the front of the lens so stray light does not creep in. The inner surface is matte and non-glare, so reflections and flare are held back.
Filters and front lens caps in the 52mm size stay usable with it fitted. The extended front end adds some protection against accidental knocks. The set is a petal-style hood plus a 52mm adapter ring.
