Viltrox EF-E II 0.71x Lens Mount Adapter for Canon EF-Mount Lens to Select Sony E-Mount Cameras

Overview

The Viltrox EF-E II is a 0.71x focal reducer that lets full-frame Canon EF-mount lenses mount directly onto select Sony E-mount APS-C cameras, correcting for the smaller sensor's crop factor along the way. By condensing the light projected by a 35mm-format lens onto an APS-C sensor, it restores close to the lens's original field of view and adds a one-stop gain in effective aperture, all while preserving autofocus and camera-controlled aperture on compatible bodies.

Electronic Communication for AF and Exif

Where a connected lens supports autofocus and camera-controlled aperture, this adapter passes those functions through to the camera, and can also relay Exif metadata to compatible Sony E-mount bodies for image files.

AF Mode Toggle Switch

A side-mounted toggle switch lets you select phase-detection or contrast-detection autofocus on supported Sony E-mount cameras. Set this before attaching the adapter to the camera for it to take effect.

Detachable Tripod Foot

A tripod foot on the underside includes a 1/4"-20 accessory thread, so the adapter and lens combination can be mounted directly to a tripod or quick-release plate rather than putting extra strain on the camera mount.
