Overview

The E-Image GH15 Heavy-Duty Fluid Video Head, made by ikan, is designed for videographers running heavier camera and lens combinations, supporting loads up to 18 kg on a wide 100mm half-ball base for quick, stable levelling. Ten steps of counterbalance and five grades of independently adjustable pan and tilt drag let you dial the head in to suit anything from a lightweight mirrorless setup to a fully rigged cinema camera. An illuminated bubble level, sliding balance plate, and dual pan handle rosettes round out a head built for demanding production work.

Ten-Step Counterbalance & Drag Control

Ten steps of counterbalance, 0 through 9, let you fine-tune the head to match the weight of your camera, while five grades of pan and tilt drag, plus a zero setting, adjust to the needs of the shot and your operating style.

• Zero setting removes drag entirely for free movement.
• 165 degrees of tilt travel, from -75 to 90 degrees.
• Independent pan and tilt locks.

Sliding Balance Plate with Safety Lock

The camera platform accepts a sliding balance plate so you can fine-tune balance on the head, secured by a lock and safety release. It's equipped with a 1/4"-20 threaded accessory socket for monitor support arms and other accessories.

Dual Pan Handle Rosettes

Two pan handle rosettes, one on each side of the head, let you mount the included telescopic handle on whichever side suits your shooting position. A plastic insert protects the metal rosettes from contact damage, and the rosettes themselves are replaceable if damaged.

Illuminated Bubble Level

A built-in bubble level activated by a small button lets you check your shot is level even in dim lighting conditions.
