Overview

The Viltrox PFU RBMH 20mm f/1.8 ASPH Lens for Sony E is an ultra-wide prime lens designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, and can also be used on APS-C models where it provides a 30mm full-frame equivalent focal length. Its bright f/1.8 maximum aperture suits difficult lighting conditions and offers increased control over depth of field, with an aperture range extending to f/16 for shooting flexibility across a wide range of scenes.

Four extra-low dispersion elements, one double-sided aspherical element, and one element made from highly transparent glass work together to reduce a range of aberrations, producing a well-corrected image with accurate colour and high sharpness. An HD Nano multi-layer coating, which is also water-resistant, has been applied to individual elements to reduce flare and ghosting for improved contrast, while a manual focus design with a 148.5-degree focus throw allows for precise work with subjects as close as 25cm away.

14-Blade Diaphragm

A 14-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality, while brass lens barrel construction realises a physically durable design that also affords smooth operation.
