JJC F-BS Series Blue Streak Filter is specially designed for adding anamorphic-like blue flares to still images and video footage without using a specialty lens. It can create eye-catching cinematic looks with virtually any camera and lens combination. Features a series of etched parallel lines spaced 0.08"/ 2mm apart from each other, the filter can create the effect of elongated blue streaks horizontally from a point light source.
The filter is made of professional HD optical glass with 14 layers of multicoating and resistance coating for optimal sharpness and light transmission. The resistance coating also protects the filter surface from scratches and fingerprints, and it repels water and oil, making it ideal for use on location in harsh environments. The filter ring is made from precision-machined aluminum alloy. It is fully rotatable; thus, you can adjust the flare effect to any desired angle. In addition, the 0.2"/ 5.2mm slim frame design allows the filter to be used on wide-angle or telephoto lenses without vignetting. This filter has different thread sizes available from 49-82mm. The package comes with a moisture-proof filter case to better protect the filter when it is not in use.
