Overview

The JJC LH-JXF27II Lens Hood is designed specifically for the FUJIFILM XF 23mm F2.8 R WR, XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR, and XF 27mm f/2.8 lenses, replacing FUJIFILM's own LH-XF27 hood. Shaped to match the exact focal length of these lenses, it extends beyond the front element to block stray light and reduce flare, while a non-glare matte interior finish further controls glare without introducing vignetting. Built from sturdy aluminum alloy for the hood and adapter ring, it also adds a layer of protection against accidental knocks, and the design still allows a 39mm filter to be used normally.

Reduces Flare and Stray Light

The extended shape of the hood shades the front element from off-axis light, cutting down flare and unwanted reflections. A non-glare matte finish on the interior further limits internal reflections, and no vignetting shows with the hood attached.

Aluminum Alloy Construction

The lens hood and adapter ring are made from aluminum alloy for a sturdy, durable fit, while the included hood cap is made from ABS material. Together they add a layer of protection for the front of the lens against everyday knocks.
