The JJC MA-A Wired Remote Switch, Replaces Canon RS-80N3 & TC-80N3 is a wired remote switch that replaces the Canon RS-80N3 and TC-80N3. It works with cameras that have a Canon RS-80N3 remote socket. The two-stage release button focuses on a half press and fires the shutter on a full press. For long exposures, press fully and slide the button into its locked position, and slide it back to unlock.

It needs no batteries because it draws its power from the camera, which helps prevent camera shake and makes it a good choice for long exposures.
