Fast for low-light shooting and light enough to fly on a drone, the Laowa Cine 17mm T1.9 Lens from Venus Optics is designed for the MFT shooter who wants a cinema-normal shot with a natural look and feel. A seeming contradiction in lens creation, the 17mm is small and lightweight, yet optically fast and sharp. Use the lens with your camera in handheld, tripod, gimbal, stabilizer configuration, or drone mounted for sharp clear images in dim to bright conditions.

With focus scales marked in both feet and meters, the lens is suitable for anyone without remarking the distances, and the built-in 0.8 MOD rings allow you to easily integrate this lens into your cinema lens accessory setup as it works with industry-standard follow focus units and lens motors. In addition, the lens accepts optional 49mm threaded filters, which can help protect your front element, and you can select to improve your images by cutting through UV and glare. The lens comes with a protective hard case.

The Laowa Cine 17mm T1.9 MFT is a high-speed compact lens with a 65° angle of view on a Micro Four Thirds sensor. This AoV is a versatile focal length suitable for almost every photography genre, such as wedding, travel, portrait, and medium shots.

The 5.9" minimum focusing distance becomes extra useful when shooting close-up subjects. The lens features seven aperture blades and creates good subject separation from the background and smooth bokeh.

The focus and iris rings have built-in 0.8 MOD gears.
