Overview

The Kupo CT-40M Master 40" C-Stand with Turtle Base is a robust steel light stand built for mounting lighting equipment, flags, and a wide range of grip accessories. Made from chrome-finished steel with two risers and three telescoping sections, it extends to a full working height of 295cm and folds down to 134cm for storage. A defining feature of this C-stand is its detachable turtle base, which lets you separate the base from the riser to mount a light directly onto it or use the riser on its own as a trombone-style telescoping arm.

Detachable Turtle Base

The turtle-style base can be fully detached from the riser, allowing you to mount a light straight onto the base itself. Its wide, stable "C"-type legs make it easy to sandbag and straddle obstacles, and the whole base folds flat for convenient transport.

Trombone-Style Riser Arm

Once detached from the base, the riser doubles as a telescoping "trombone" arm, giving you extra flexibility to position clamps and accessories exactly where you need them.

Ring-Locking System

A patented ring-locking mechanism on each section allows for quick, secure setup and breakdown, while a 5/8" baby stud on top accepts standard grip and lighting accessories.
