Samyang XEEN CF 135mm T2.2 Cine Lens (PL, Feet)

Overview

The Samyang XEEN CF 135mm T2.2 Cine Lens is a full-frame cinema prime designed for PL-mount cameras capable of capturing high-quality 8K footage. Its lightweight carbon fiber construction keeps the lens manageable on gimbals, drones and handheld rigs, and a T2.2 to T22 aperture range gives operators a low-light advantage plus fine control over depth of field for close-up dialogue, portraiture and long-lens coverage. Markings on this variant are calibrated in feet, displayed on both sides of the lens in luminous paint for high visibility on set.

The lens features 11 aperture blades for smooth, circular bokeh and Samyang's X-Coating Technology, which helps prevent flares and reflections for a more natural-looking image with strong contrast. The focus ring rotates 200° and the aperture ring 32.5° for intuitive, geared control, and industry-standard 0.8 MOD focus and aperture gears make it compatible with common follow focus systems. On a full-frame camera the lens has an 18.8° angle of view, giving a genuine telephoto perspective within the XEEN CF range.

X-Coating for Flare and Ghost Control

X-Coating Technology controls internal reflection, flare and ghosting for a cleaner, more natural-looking image, while the 11-blade iris keeps out-of-focus areas soft and circular.

Feet-Calibrated Focus and Iris Scales

• Distance and T-stop markings in feet on both sides of the lens for fast reference during focus pulling.
• Luminous paint keeps markings visible in dim or dark shooting environments.

The 135mm shares its 95mm front diameter, gear positions and overall color response with other lenses in the XEEN CF range, so cinematographers can swap focal lengths mid-production without reconfiguring matte boxes, filters or follow focus systems.
