Optical Design
The lens's optical design incorporates two aspherical elements, two HR elements, and three ED glass elements, which together provide contrast-rich imagery with minimized flare and ghosting.
Control & Connectivity
The STM motor within the lens minimizes focus breathing and creates fast and quiet autofocus, which greatly benefits video applications. Firmware updates can be downloaded via the USB-C port located on the lens mount.
