SmallRig CINE White Diffusion Overview
The CINE 4 x 5.65" White Diffusion 1/8 Filter from SmallRig helps to reduce the value of the highlights while slightly lowering the overall contrast. This filter is especially useful for smoothing out and softening facial wrinkles and other blemishes to resemble a soft, old-fashioned film look. The optical glass filter is designed for use with 4 x 5.65" matte boxes and features 22 layers of nano anti-glare and anti-smudge coatings.
While designed for cinematic use, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. Unlike a traditional diffusion or soft focus filter, White Diffusion filters provide bright, natural color and edge-to-edge diffusion on white highlights. The 1/8 density provides a 1/8 stop contrast and highlight reduction.
Consistent Color Reproduction
Dual-sided 22-layer nano anti-glare, anti-smudge, anti-scratch coating on the optical glass creates a soft, film-like texture with reliable color accuracy across the spectrum.Cinematic Diffusion Effect
This filter softens highlights, creating a diffused effect on white highlights for a gentle visual appeal, while maintaining brightness in dark tones. It features consistent color reproduction to create an effect closer to natural light with smooth, rounded transitions at object edges for a cinematic feel.Designed for Matte Box
