Overview

The Shure Nexadyne 8/S is a supercardioid dynamic vocal microphone engineered for live stage performers, using an innovative Revonic dual-transducer design with two separate but interdependent sets of diaphragms, voice coils and magnets. The result is condenser-like clarity with a crisp, natural high-end response, letting vocalists focus on their performance rather than mic technique. It features a die-cast aluminium chassis with a dent-resistant grille and includes a mic clip, brass thread adapter and zippered case.

Revonic Dual-Engine Transducer

Two matched dynamic transducers work together to improve sound quality and reject unwanted signal. Wiring them out of phase cancels mechanical vibration so self-noise is actively removed, making traditional shockmounts unnecessary and freeing the acoustic design to be optimised for clarity.

Narrow Supercardioid Pickup

The narrow supercardioid polar pattern provides tightly focused audio capture centred directly on the performer, reducing bleed from off-axis sources and delivering clearer sound with substantially less feedback from stage monitors and sound reinforcement equipment.

Durable, Dent-Resistant Build

A die-cast aluminium chassis and dent-resistant grille help the Nexadyne 8/S survive the rigours of daily stage use, while the standard XLR connector requires no external power to operate.
