Overview
The Shure SV100 is a cost effective handheld dynamic microphone built for everyday use across live sound, karaoke, presentations and recording. Its cardioid pickup pattern focuses capture on the performer while reducing feedback from nearby speakers, and the durable metal body is designed to handle the rigours of regular stage use. This version includes a 4.5m XLR to 1/4" cable, giving you an easy connection to mixers, PA systems, audio interfaces and other gear right out of the box.
Reliable Everyday Performance
The SV100 requires no phantom power to operate, so it is ready to go with almost any audio setup. A simple on/off switch lets you mute the mic quickly between takes or performances, and a neodymium magnet delivers strong output for a clear, consistent signal.
Cardioid Pickup Pattern
The dynamic capsule captures sound with a cardioid pattern that concentrates on the source directly in front of the mic, cutting down on ambient noise and reducing the chance of feedback when used with sound reinforcement equipment. Frequency response runs from 50 Hz to 15 kHz.
